SJSU Davison President’s Scholar Endowment at College of Science 2024

Eligibility

• The Davison President’s Scholar Endowment is a prestigious four-year full academic scholarship available to entering first-year students who declare a major in Biology (any concentration) or Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry.
• To be eligible, students must be California residents and meet one of the following criteria:
  • National Merit Scholars
  • National Merit Scholar Finalists
  • High School Valedictorians
• Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a strong record of leadership and service in their high schools and communities.
• Students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 are also eligible to apply for additional scholarships under this endowment.

Application Process

• To apply for the Davison President’s Scholar Endowment, students must apply as entering first-year students with a declared major in Biology or Chemistry (Biochemistry concentration).
• Eligible students must submit proof of their National Merit status, high school valedictorian standing, or other evidence of academic excellence.
• In addition, applicants should provide a record of leadership and service activities during their high school years. Students with a GPA of 3.75 or higher can also apply for additional scholarships.
