Introduction:

The David W. Rodd Memorial Award supports second-year students in hospitality and tourism-related programs at Holland College who have completed a summer work contract with a Hotel Association of PEI member property.

Eligibility requirement for David W. Rodd Memorial Award at Holland College:

Must be enrolled in second year of an eligible program: Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management,Tourism, Travel and Events Management
Must have completed a summer work contract at a property that is a member of the Hotel Association of Prince Edward Island.
Must provide a reference letter from the supervising property.

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

Confirm you are a second-year student in an eligible program.
Confirm completion of a qualifying summer work contract.
Obtain a reference letter from your supervisor at the hotel/property.
Complete the application form.
Answer whether you completed the required summer work contract.
