The David Hoy Annual Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia supports students from the Fort St. James area pursuing Forestry studies, with preference for those planning to become Registered Professional Foresters.

Eligibility Criteria for the David Hoy Annual Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time Forestry students from Fort St. James.
• Preference is given to students pursuing Registered Professional Forester studies.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
• If there are no eligible applicants from Fort St. James, students from outlying communities such as Vanderhoof, Fort Fraser, Fraser Lake, or Burns Lake may be considered.
• The scholarship may be renewed, subject to continued eligibility and academic proficiency.
