Eligibility for the David Hare Award in Theological and Religious Studies:

Applicants must:

Be a domestic student of New Zealand.
Be enrolled full-time in Stage III of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or BA conjoint degree.
Be majoring or specialising in Theological and Religious Studies.
Have completed a Stage II course in the Bachelor of Arts Schedule for Theological and Religious Studies in the preceding year.
Have submitted, as part of coursework, an essay that best challenges or expands traditional theological and religious thought through creative, interdisciplinary,
and academically rigorous engagement with other disciplines.

Value of the David Hare Award in Theological and Religious Studies:

One Award will be made annually, for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of up to $2,000.

Application process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
