Eligibility Criteria for David Guard MABECS University of Birmingham Postgraduate Taught Scholarships:

  • Applicants must be domiciled in Malaysia.
  • Applicants must have an excellent academic background and should have or be expecting a 2.1 in a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have received and accepted an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught program starting September 2026.

  • PGDip and PGCert programs are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Successful recipients of the scholarship must have completed online university registration and be ‘Normally Registered’ by 3 October 2026.
  • Applicants must be registered with, and have their postgraduate study application attached to, the University’s local representatives, MABECS.

The scholarship will cover tuition fees for a full-time postgraduate taught Masters degree program of one-year duration at the university starting in September 2026.

Application Process:

To apply for the scholarship, students will need to be registered with MABECS and have accepted an offer from the University of Birmingham by the scholarship deadline of 30 June 2026.
