The David Garlick Memorial Award was created to support and encourage students at UNSW's Faculty of Medicine and Health who are studying exercise physiology.
Eligibility for David Garlick Memorial Award:
- Applicant must be undertaking full-time study in the Bachelor of Exercise Physiology program in the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW.
- Academic merit, with consideration, is also being given to any physical activities that the applicant engages in & any sporting achievements.
- Leadership skills within the school, workplace, or community.
- Extra-curricular activities inclusive of sporting, cultural, or volunteering/work experience.
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in the area of Exercise Physiology.
Selection Process:

- Leadership abilities in the community, business, or school
- Extracurricular activities include volunteering and job experience, cultural events, and sports.

If no candidate has enough merit or if the applicant does not fit the requirements for eligibility or selection, UNSW retains the right to refuse to award a scholarship.
