David G. Harrison Memorial Award at Canadore College:

The David G. Harrison Memorial Award is an annual award offered by Canadore College to support mature students from the Parry Sound region who are pursuing electrical or trades-related studies and demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility requirements for the David G. Harrison Memorial Award at Canadore College:

• The applicants must be mature students with a family connection to the Parry Sound region.
• The preference is given to students enrolled in Electrical Techniques at Canadore College.
• The applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• If no eligible applicant meets the above criteria, consideration may be given to a mature or direct-entry students with a family connection to the Parry Sound region
• If none of these criteria are met, the award may be given to an Indigenous student living in a First Nation community.
