Daniel Dayalan Mechanical Engineering Scholarship at Queen Mary University of London 

The Daniel Dayalan Mechanical Engineering Scholarship at Queen Mary University of London is a means-tested award for domestic students from West or South London. It provides GBP 1,250 per year for a maximum of three years of study, contingent on satisfactory academic progress. Only one scholarship is available for the September 2025 intake. 

Eligibility Criteria of Daniel Dayalan Mechanical Engineering Scholarship: 

1. One scholarship is available for 2025/26 entry students, subject to confirmation; applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a Mechanical Engineering course at Queen Mary starting September 2025.
2. Applicants must be resident in West or South London.
3. Applicants must be assessed by Student Finance England (SFE) as having a household income of GBP 42,875 or less.

Application Process: 

1. After enrolling as a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at Queen Mary, the applicant must undergo a full household income assessment by Student Finance England (SFE) to confirm their eligibility based on a household income of GBP 42,875 or less.
2. Once enrolled, the applicant can log in to the university's MySIS student portal, navigate to the Scholarships and Bursaries section, and fill out the online application before the deadline on November 7, 2025. 

Award: GBP 1,250 per year for three years.
