The Curt and Lloyd Merritt Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia supports undergraduate students with a documented reading and/or writing learning disability, based on financial need and academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria for the Curt and Lloyd Merritt Bursary at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students.
• Applicants must have documented dyslexia or a reading/writing learning disability.
• First preference is given to students entering university for the first time.
• Second preference is given to students with more than 30 credit hours.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic standing.
• The bursary is renewable for up to three years, subject to maintaining eligibility.
