Overview

The CRM-ISM Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowship allows the beneficiaries of this scholarship to devote most of their time to their research work under the supervision of a professor from one of the ISM member universities.

Eligibility for the CRM-ISM Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowships:

  • Applicants can be both domestic and international students.
  • Applicants must have obtained a doctorate after May 1, 2020.
  • Applicants not currently enrolled in a CRM and ISM member university are given first consideration.

Application Process:

The eligible candidates must apply to Mathjobs along with the following documents:

  • Curriculum vitae (PDF format)
  • Research project (PDF format)
  • The names of at least two and at most five people familiar with your research work who will write a reference letter to support your application.

Value of the Fellowship:

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

  • Annual stipend of $45,000 CAD for one year.
  • Renewable for a second year (subject to conditions).
  • Additional $1,000 CAD/year in research funds.
  • Opportunity to apply for paid teaching assignments (not mandatory).
