Eligibility Criteria for the Craig Ruddy Scholarship at Flinders University 2026:

Applicants must:

• Be of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
• Be accepted as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander by the community in which they live or have lived.
• Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
• Have had a permanent home address in the Northern Territory for at least 5 years.
• Be normally enrolled full-time at Flinders University (part-time considered in exceptional circumstances).
• Be enrolled in the Northern Territory Medical Program.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Demonstrate a passion to improve health outcomes in the Northern Territory.

Value of the Craig Ruddy Scholarship at Flinders University 2026:

A minimum of one scholarship will be available per year. Each Scholarship will have a maximum value of $5000 per recipient paid in 2 equal instalments after the census date of each semester. The number of Scholarships will depend on the funding available.
