Introduction:

Country Medical Foundation Scholarship is a coursework scholarship awarded by the University of Western Australia. The scholarship is funded by the Country Medical Foundation to assist students from regional and remote Western Australia who are experiencing financial hardship. This scholarship aims to encourage and support students undertaking the Doctor of Medicine program with a view of improving health services in rural and country WA.

Eligibility requirements for the Country Medical Foundation Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

Applicants must be a domestic student
Have completed years 11 and 12 in Western Australia and must demonstrate financial hardship.
Have completed the first 48 points of the Doctor of Medicine

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 15,000.
