Coolibah Care Scholarship Program

The Coolibah Care Scholarship Program was established by Coolibah Care in 2007 to provide financial support for students studying nursing who live in the Peel region.

Eligibility criteria of the Coolibah Care Scholarship Program:

• The applicant must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• The applicant must live in the Peel region.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing or the Graduate Certificate in Gerontological Healthcare at the time of application.
• The applicant must be experiencing personal and/or financial hardship.
• The applicant must demonstrate in their references or personal statement that they have a passion and interest in aged care.

Application process for the Coolibah Care Scholarship Program:

• This scholarship opens for applications from the first week of September each year.
• The applicants must submit a personal statement of no more than 300 words include the personal and/or financial hardship you are facing.
• The applicants must provide evidence of financial hardship.
• The applicants must submit a written reference to highlight their passion and interest in aged care.
• The applicants must demonstrate in their references or personal statement that they have a passion and interest in aged care.

Payment method: 

• AUD 2,500 in the semester the scholarship is awarded.
• AUD 2,500 in the consecutive semester.

Award: AUD 5,000
