The Continuing Education - Robert C. Reid Backstretch Education Fund Award supports continuing education students in Olds College programs related to horse racing and the backstretch.

Eligibility criteria for the Continuing Education - Robert C. Reid Backstretch Education Fund Award:

Applicants must be enrolled in an Olds College program that supports Horse Racing and the backstretch.
Applicants must be enrolled in either the Professional Racetrack Exercise Rider Program or the Professional Racetrack Groom Course at the college.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
The recipient must be a worthy individual selected by the Olds College Horse Racing Instructor and a Horse Racing Alberta Representative, in consultation with the Reid Family, represented by Dr. David C. Reid.
