The Aspire Grant Program by Conservation Action Research Network (CARN) provides competitive research grants for African graduate students and early career professionals working in the areas of biodiversity, conservation, and environmental sustainability in the Congo Basin region.

Eligibility Criteria for CARN Congo Basin Aspire Grant, 2026:

    • Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, and Uganda.
  • The candidate must be a graduate student or an early-career professional.
