Overview

Stockport College is inviting applications for college scholarship award. To be eligible for the College Scholarship Award student must be an English domiciled, new full-time undergraduate student starting your first undergraduate course in 2016/17. There are a limited number of awards available for the 2016/17 academic year. The College Scholarship Award is worth up to an additional £1000 for English domiciled students who meet our offer requirements and eligibility criteria.

The College Scholarship Award is worth up to an additional £1000 for English domiciled students who meet our offer requirements and eligibility criteria. It will be paid as follows:

  • Full Time Students -£1,000 cash payment to student in year 1. £500 paid in February 2017 and £500 paid in May 2017
  • Part Time Students -£500 cash payment to student in year 1. £250 paid in February 2017 and £250 paid in May 2017

To be eligible you must:

  • Be an English domiciled, new full-time undergraduate student starting your first undergraduate course in 2016/17
  • Have a household income of £25,000 or less
  • Not be continuing from one programme to another (e.g. from an FdA/FdSc or HND to the final year of an honours programme or top-up)
  • Not be funded by your employer to take part in the programme

Note: All successful applicants will be notified by letter during November 2016, specifying the amount awarded and award schedule.
