The goal of this scholarship is to give Georgia State University students who are enrolled in good standing one or more annual scholarship awards.
Eligibility for Chris Perrin Memorial Scholarship at Georgia State University:
- The recipient must be a rising junior or senior in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies' Department of Social Work or Department of Criminal Justice.
- To be eligible to receive funding from this scholarship, the recipient must have completed at least 90 hours in the degree program with a grade point average of 2.5 or greater, and the grade point average must stay at or above that level.
- According to the standards set by the Georgia State University Office of Student Financial Aid, the recipient must have a proven need for financial aid.
- Recipients of the first award may only be considered for a second scholarship award once they have satisfactorily finished at least 30 credit hours following the receipt of the first award.
