Eligibility for Chris Lewis Scholarship 2020:

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Chris Lewis Scholarship:

  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Received an offer of a place to commence an undergraduate degree at Curtin University in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2020
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to the Indigenous community

Value of Chris Lewis Scholarship 2020:

The Chris Lewis Scholarship will provide the following support for the expected remaining duration of the offered undergraduate degree (based on a full-time study load of 200 credits per year),

Total value of up to:

  • AUD 15,000 for a 3 year degree
  • AUD 17,500 for a 3.5 year degree
  • AUD 20,000 for a 4 year degree
  • AUD 25,000 for a 5 year degree
  • AUD 27,500 for a 5.5 year degree

Paid as a cash stipend of AUD 2,500 per study period. The amount can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses.
