Overview

Eligibility for Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program:

  • Applicant must be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs.
  • Should be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
  • This program generally does not support registered students who are studying in China when applying for this scholarship.
  • Apply to the designated Chinese universities undertaking this program between January and early April.
  • Please consult your target university for its specific deadline.
  • This scholarship only supports master's students for no more than 3 years or doctoral students for no more than 4 years.

Documents Required:

  • Application form.
  • Highest Diploma.
  • Academic transcript.
  • Study plan or Research proposal.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation 
  • IELTS or equivalent scorecard.
  • Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
  • Photocopy of Passport.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • The successful applicant of Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program will receive:
    • Full tuition fee.
    • Accommodations.
    • Stipend.
    • Medical Insurance.
  • Duration of the scholarship, which covers both major study and Chinese language/preparatory study, as specified in the Admission Letter, cannot be extended in general.
  • Scholarship students can register for either Chinese-taught program or English-taught program if applicable.
