    The Chancellor's Fellows scholarship for the Fall 2026 entry term is a prestigious award offered to Illinois residents who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and financial need. This scholarship program aims to support students pursuing higher education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Applicants must be Illinois residents as determined by university policy.
    • Applicants must meet all state requirements.
    • Applicant must complete a first-year application for admission to UIC by the scholarship priority deadline of November 3, 2025.
    • Applicant must be a 2026 graduating senior from an Illinois high school, meeting one of the following criteria:
    • Applicant to be ranked 1st in graduating class
    • Applicant should have an unweighted GPA of 3.70 with a total of at least 8 Honors, Advanced Placement, or International Baccalaureate (HL) courses in 11th and 12th grades combined in core subject areas (math, science, English/language arts, social sciences/humanities, foreign languages)
    • Applicant should have an unweighted GPA of 3.70 with a cumulative ACT score of 33 or SAT score of 1450
    • Applicant must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Rise Act application with the UIC school code (001776) by November 3, 2025.
    • Applicants' total family income cannot exceed 6 times the Federal Poverty guidelines.

    Value of the Scholarship :

    Recipients of this scholarship receive financial assistance to cover tuition and other educational expenses for the Fall 2026 entry term.
