 The Department is delighted to offer up to ten 'Chemistry Excellence' scholarships of up to £2,000 for overseas students.

Eligibility for the Chemistry Excellence Scholarships:

  • Applicants of the Chemistry Excellence Scholarships must be International (including EU) students.
  • Candidates should be liable to pay the overseas fee rate for their year of entry and have applied via UCAS for a Chemistry course at York.
  • Students must have obtained an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent at the time of application and can demonstrate their ability to pay all living costs while in the UK for the duration of their course.

How to apply?

Overseas students need not complete an application for a scholarship; they will be considered automatically.
