Carolyn Carter Bursary at Mohawk College:

The Charlie and Mabel Duncan Memorial Bursary is a general bursary at Mohawk College that supports students in selected programmes who demonstrate financial need and have a connection to the Hamilton community. One award is available.

Eligibility requirements for the Canerector Scholars at Mohawk College:

• The applicant must Must have attended a high school within the City of Hamilton (graduation from the school is not required).
• Both public and Catholic schools are eligible.
• If there are no qualified recipients, students from the Greater Hamilton Area may be considered.
• Students must reside within a postal code in the Code Red district.
• The applicants must demonstrate financial need according to OSAP eligibility guidelines.

Application Process:

• This is a general award; the students can apply through the Mohawk College Scholarships and Bursaries Application.
• The required application letter describing community service/volunteer contributions must also be included.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A CAD 2,231 is awarded to support a full-time student at Mohawk University.
