Chancellor’s International Scholarship at the University of Leicester
To honour Dame Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, PhD, the University of Leicester is offering the Chancellor's International Scholarship to eligible international-fee-paying students applying for undergraduate degrees. Inspired by Dame Maggie, an award-winning space scientist and broadcaster, this scholarship reflects the University’s dedication to supporting talented students worldwide.
Eligibility Criteria of Chancellor’s International Scholarship:
This scholarship rewards the applicants for strong academic performance in any international qualification equivalent to British A-levels. If the applicants meet or exceed the standard entry criteria for their chosen course, they will receive a GBP 3,000 tuition fee discount per year.
Application Process: There is no separate application process; eligible applicants are automatically considered, and successful ones will be informed once they submit their final results.
Award: GBP 3,000 tuition fee discount per year.
Note:
- As per the scholarship rules, the applicant can hold only one University of Leicester scholarship. If they qualify for multiple awards, they will receive only the one with the higher value.
- The applicants must be beginning a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course (including STEM International Foundation and all ‘International Year 1’ programmes) starting in September 2026.
