Eligibility for CQUniCares Emergency Grant:

  • Be an Australian Citizen, a New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent Resident, or a holder of a Humanitarian Visa with a permanent home address in Australia.
  • Be experiencing genuine, urgent financial need due to unforeseen circumstances or an emergency that could significantly impact study progress.
  • Be enrolled and actively studying in one of the following at CQUniversity:
    • Certificate I–IV
    • Enabling/Pathway programs
    • Undergraduate programs
    • Postgraduate programs
  • Have successfully completed at least one term of study at CQUniversity.
  • Not be a cross-institutional student (i.e., CQUniversity must be the student's home institution).
  • Not have received a CQUniCares Emergency Grant in the past 12 months.
