Catherine Bonnes AM Scholarship at Flinders University 2024

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Be Australian citizens or permanent residents
  Be individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, with priority given to those with a hearing impairment that significantly impacts their education
• Be admitted to a recognized post-secondary course at a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) such as a university, TAFE, or another approved educational institution (whether studying full-time or part-time) in your State or Territory.

Value:

• Each year, at least one scholarship will be available to help with tuition, textbooks, computer or laptop costs, or any other necessary support that is approved by the Scholarship Panel. 
• The Catherine Bonnes AM Scholarship will be awarded in two rounds annually, with each round offering financial aid up to a maximum of $5,000.

Application Process:
To apply, you will need to provide the following:

• Application form (personal details)
• A personal statement outlining your academic goals and other interests. This should detail the area of study you wish to pursue and explain why you want to be a Catherine Bonnes AM Scholar.
• The statement should be concise (no more than 1,000 words) and written clearly.
• It must be signed and dated by hand.
• A copy of your admissions notice.
• A photocopy of your Birth Certificate or other documentation proving your age or residency in Australia
