Carter Scholarship Fund at University of Colorado Boulder 2026

The Braxton Carter Cohort Scholarship supports incoming and continuing students in the Leeds School of Business who are Colorado residents from Del Norte or the San Luis Valley and/or demonstrate financial need. The scholarship aims to increase access to business education while supporting students' academic success.

Eligibility Criteria for Carter Scholarship Fund:

• Applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in the Leeds School of Business.
• Applicants must be Colorado residents from Del Norte or the San Luis Valley and/or demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must be incoming first-year/freshman students or eligible continuing students.
• Applicants must maintain full-time enrollment in the Leeds School of Business to receive and retain scholarship funding.
• Applicants must maintain good academic standing.

Value of Carter Scholarship Fund:

Recipients receive an annual scholarship award ranging from $3,000 to $5,000.

Application Process:

• Incoming freshmen: No separate scholarship application is required; all admitted first-year students are automatically considered for Leeds-based scholarships during the admissions process.
• Complete the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application to be considered for additional university-wide scholarship opportunities.
• Continuing students: Complete both the Leeds Scholarship Application and the CU Boulder Scholarship Application between December 1 and the March priority deadline.
