Carrick Robertson Prize at University of Auckland 2026

The Carrick Robertson Prize commemorates the late Sir Carrick Robertson, who was one of Auckland’s leading surgeons.

Eligibility for the Carrick Robertson Prize:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in Part VI of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
• Achieve the highest aggregate marks in clinical assessments conducted by the Head of the Department of Surgery.
• Meet the minimum standard of 80% average in the assessments.

Value of the  the Carrick Robertson Prize:

One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $500.

Application process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
