The Canadian Citizenship Celebration Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia supports students who were born outside Canada and the United States and have established permanent residency in Canada while pursuing their university education.

Eligibility for the Canadian Citizenship Celebration Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students.
• Applicants must be born outside Canada and the United States.
• Neither parent may have been a Canadian or U.S. citizen at or before the applicant’s birth.
• Applicants must have lawfully immigrated to Canada and held Canadian permanent resident status for at least three years.
• Applicants must intend to remain in Canada, pursue citizenship if applicable, and contribute to the country.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence.
