Cammick Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington
The Cammick Scholarship, funded through the Graeme Cammick Property Trust, supports outstanding performance students at the New Zealand School of Music — Te Kōkī, Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Established in memory of Graeme Cammick, it alternates between exceptional voice students and those studying other instruments or composition.
Eligibility Criteria of Cammick Scholarship:
Applicants must be full-time performance students at the New Zealand School of Music — Te Kōkī, with confirmed acceptance to pursue further study or performance opportunities either in New Zealand or overseas.
Selection Criteria: The scholarship will alternate between vocal students, or other instruments and composition students.
Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Award: NZD 10,000.
Note:
- The scholarship can fund overseas study, performance experiences in New Zealand, or further study at NZSM, including fees and development opportunities.
- Recipients must write a letter of appreciation to Graeme Cammick’s family.
- Recipients are expected to engage with and contribute to the NZSM community through performances and events.
