Brian Harris Scholarship 2024 was established by the donor Brian Harris so that those from lower-income backgrounds could stand out and have the opportunity to study an MA in History. 

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be a full or part-time student from the UK applying for one of the following Masters degrees: 
    • MA History
    • MA Public History
    • MA Crusader Studies
    • MA History: Hellenic Studies
    • MA Ancient History
    • MA Late Antique and Byzantine Studies
    • MA Medieval Studies
  • Applicant is expected to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, at least a 2:1 degree or equivalent, with preference given to those with, or expected to achieve, a First Class Honours Degree. 
  • Applicant must also hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study at Royal Holloway.

Value:

  • Brian Harris Scholarship 2024 is offered as a full tuition fee reduction plus 10,000 pounds for living, research and travel costs.
