The Presidential Scholarship is given annually by the Board of Admissions to outstanding first-year students who show promise in the classroom. Presidential Scholars are not only some of our most gifted academics, but they also flourish outside of the classroom and take on leadership roles in their communities and schools.
Eligibility Criteria for Boston University Presidential Scholarship 2026:
- Applicant must be an incoming first-year student
- Applicant must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement
- Applicant must be planning to enroll in an undergraduate degree at the university.
Value of Boston University Presidential Scholarship 2026:
Successful applicants will get a reduction of 50% in tuition fees. This half-tuition scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study at BU.
Application Process:
No further application forms or essays are needed. By December 1st, students who want to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship must submit their application along with any supporting documentation.
