The purpose of this scholarship is intended to support students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Natural Science and Mathematics.

Eligibility criteria for Bossert Putnam Exam Award in Mathematics -

  • The applicant must be the highest score that year amongst the Sacramento State students taking the annual MAA Putnam Exam.
  • The applicant must be pursuing majors in Mathmatics/Statistics.
  • The applicant must have a minimum GPA and Good Academic Standing.
  • The applicant must be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior.
  • The Financial need of the applicant is not required.
