Established in 1975 by the Norman M. Paterson Foundation in memory of the Right Honourable Bora Laskin, who was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada from 1971 to 1980.

Eligibility for Bora Laskin Memorial Entrance Scholarship: Physics:

Must be an entrance student majoring in Physics (in-course students may apply only if the scholarship was not awarded at the entrance level)
Awarded based on academic performance
Must submit a detailed statement outlining interest and career plans in Physics
Preference given to students pursuing studies and/or work in energy and environmental science
