Eligibility for University of Bolton- Bolton Sports Bursary, 2022:

  • The bursary is open to athletes competing at International, County, and Professional Club Level competitions.
  • Applicants who have secured a minimum 240 UCAS points from a HEFCE approved qualification are eligible.
  • He/She must have secured at the first sitting in the final exams within the year of application.
  • Candidates who have selected the University of Bolton as the first choice will be considered.
  • Candidates are required to qualify the general entry criteria for the University and the specific course to which they are applying.
  • Students must be eligible to receive student support under the current government Education Regulations.
  • The Scholarship will be paid for first Higher Education (H.E.) courses only. 

Value of Bolton Sports Bursary, 2022:

  • The recipients of Bolton Sports Bursary gets 3,000 pounds.
  • The award is paid as a 1000 pounds cash installment per year for three years. 
  • Recipients of the Bursary will be required to be ambassadors for the University and participate in promotional activities for the University of Bolton.
