The BMO Bank of Montreal Aboriginal Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia supports students pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce who are residents of Northern British Columbia and demonstrate academic proficiency.

Eligibility Criteria for the BMO Bank of Montreal Aboriginal Scholarship at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be residents of Northern British Columbia as defined by the UNBC Act.
• Applicants must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce program.
• Priority is given to applicants who have completed 60 credit hours and studied at UNBC for their first two years or transferred from a regional community college in Northern BC.
• Applicants with fewer than 60 credit hours may be considered if no eligible applicants are available.
• Preference is given to First Nations students.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic proficiency.
• Final selection is based on superior academic achievement.
