Bioengineering UG Department Bursary at Imperial College London

The Bioengineering UG Department Bursary at Imperial College London provides financial support to undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds who are studying in the Department of Bioengineering. 

Eligibility Criteria of Bioengineering UG Department Bursary:

1. The applicant must have Home fee status and currently attend a UK state-funded comprehensive school.
2. The applicant should either have experience of being in care or be a care leaver supported by a local authority, or have a permanent home address in an area classified as Quintile 1 (IMD) or Quintile 1/2 (POLAR4).
3. The applicant should be the first person in their immediate family to attend university.

Selection Criteria: Bursaries are allocated after the interview stage by the Department of Bioengineering Admissions Tutors, who consider academic potential and engagement with the subject.  

Application Process: No separate application is necessary, as students are automatically considered based on their UCAS application information. 

Award: GBP 2,000 per annum.

Note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
