Bielefeld University International Visiting Fellowships, 2022

The Bielefeld Graduate School of History and Sociology at the Bielefeld University offers visiting fellowships to doctoral researchers to develop international scientific and cultural exchange.

Eligibility for Bielefeld University International Visiting Fellowships, 2022:

• The applicants for Bielefeld University International Visiting Fellowships, 2022 should be international applicants.
• The German applicants who have done their tertiary education at the foreign universities are eligible.
• The candidates whose dissertation has the focus on political science, history, sociology, or social anthropology are eligible.
• The applicants should present their project to the BGHS at the beginning of the fellowship and should submit the final report by the end.
• The candidate's project should fit into the BGHS profile.

Documents required:

• The applicants for Bielefeld University International Visiting Fellowships, 2022 should submit a curriculum vitae, not more than 1000 words, dissertation project's description in 2,000 words max, and a recommendation letter from the supervisor/advisor at the university.
• The candidates should also submit a covering letter in 600 words, timeframe and work schedule, and academic transcripts.

Value of the International Fellowships, 2022:

• The recipients of Bielefeld University International Visiting Fellowships, 2022 get EUR 1,200 stipend per month and travel costs upon the application.
• The recipients also get a computer workstation and child allowance if applicable.
