BethAnn McClain Scholarship
Because of BethAnn's impact on the School of Media and Journalism and Kent State University, her family, friends, and colleagues are raising funds to endow a permanent scholarship in her name to keep her spirit with us and to benefit deserving journalism students whose interests parallel hers.
Eligibility criteria -
- They must be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours for undergraduate, 8 credit hours for graduate)
- They must be enrolled at the Kent Campus
- They must be an undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum 2.75 GPA
- They must be pursuing majors in the School of Media and Journalism programs
- They must exemplify a commitment to the university and community service
- An interest in environmental or science reporting may also be considered
