Eligibility Criteria for Bertha Kalm Scholarship at San Jose State University 2026:

Applicants must:

• Be first-year master’s students enrolled in a graduate program.
• Have completed fewer than half of the required units of their master’s program by the end of the application semester.
• Demonstrate financial need to continue their education.
• Show a strong desire to make a positive difference for humanity through their studies and career goals.
• Be nominated by a tenured or tenure-track faculty member.
• Submit required supporting materials, including a personal statement, transcripts, a CV or resume, and letters of recommendation.

Value of the Bertha Kalm Scholarship at San Jose State University 2026:

Up to four scholarships of $10,000 each are awarded for the academic year.
