The Bert and Vera Thiess Scholarship in Civil Engineering was established in 2019 and is maintained by a gift from the Bert and Vera Thiess Foundation.
Eligibility for the Bert and Vera Thiess Scholarship in Civil Engineering:
- Applicant must be a domestic student.
- Candidate should provide evidence of financial hardship,
- Should be enrolled full-time in any of the following programs:
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- An integrated or dual engineering program
- Must have not undertaken any prior tertiary study at a Bachelor level or above prior to enrolling.
- Students should not hold a scholarship that the Head considers to be similar.
