The BCIC Young Innovator Matching Grant at the University of Northern British Columbia supports new students who have received a BCIC Young Innovator Scholarship and enroll full-time at UNBC.

Eligibility Criteria for the BCIC Young Innovator Matching Grant at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be new students at UNBC.
• Applicants must have been selected to receive a BCIC Young Innovator Scholarship through the British Columbia Innovation Council (BCIC).
• Applicants must meet UNBC admission requirements.
• Applicants must enroll as full-time students at UNBC in the academic year immediately following the award.
• Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic standing.

Application Process for the BCIC Young Innovator Matching Grant at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must complete the Online Awards Application.
• Applicants must submit proof of receiving the BCIC Young Innovator Award to the Awards Office.
• Applicants apply through the Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Recipient selection is made by the Awards Office/SCSB.
• Additional documentation is required (proof of the BCIC award).
