Eligibility Criteria for the Barbara Bowmar Adult Upgrading/English Language Bursary at Okanagan College 2026:
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person.
- Applicant must have completed one or more semesters of the English Language Certificate programme or the Adult Basic Education Fundamental or Intermediate Certificate programme at any Okanagan College campus and be returning for a subsequent semester in the same programme.
- Applicant must meet at least one of the following enrolment requirements:
- Be registered in at least a 50% course load in the English Language Certificate programme.
- Be enrolled in ABE courses totalling at least 14 hours of instruction per week.
- Be enrolled in at least two academic courses (6 credits) and one ABE course at Okanagan College.
