Overview

The Department of Journalism, City, University of London is delighted to be a preferred partner with the Aziz Foundation who offer scholarships to students from the UK Muslim community.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicant must have applied to a taught master's program at the Department of Journalism, City, University of London.
  • Should be eligible for Home fees status.
  • Candidate must be active within a Muslim community and demonstrate intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a long-term commitment to community/societal development within Britain.
  • Student must show how the course will increase their effectiveness in one of the following areas relating to British Muslims.
  • Should be able to demonstrate that you come from a low-income background and require financial assistance to undertake a master's study.
  • Applicant must enroll for the 2022-2023 academic year 

Value of the scholarship:

Successful applicants of the Aziz Foundation Scholarships for Postgraduate Journalism will receive a full tuition fee waiver from the university.
