Avery Award

The Avery Award was originally established by the owners of Cavendish Figurines Ltd., now known as Shop & Play. Jeannette Arsenault and Don Maxfield, and their staff, as a contribution to their Island community in appreciation of the legacy of L.M. Montgomery on PEI and in tribute to the "spirit of Anne."

Eligibility criteria for the Avery Award:

  • Applicants must be pursuing their first undergraduate degree in any faculty.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an interest in L.M. Montgomery.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an aptitude for social media initiatives.
  • Applicants must have above-average writing skills.
  • Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of clear and effective communication.
