Description:
Research Training Program Stipends (RTPS) are funded by the Australian Government to support full-time PhD and Master by Research students who are commencing, or currently undertaking a higher degree by research program at the University of Adelaide.
Eligibility for the Research Training Program Stipends (RTPS):
- All eligible domestic students who enroll in a higher degree by research program at the University of Adelaide will be allocated an Australian Government Research Training Program Fees Offset Scholarship which entitles the holder to up to four years of full time fee funding for a doctoral degree or up to two years for a master by research degree.
- The awards are allocated as part of the Major Round and Mid-Year Round (subject to funding) of scholarship applications.
- Candidates must be Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents or New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holders.
Value of the scholarship:
Successful applicants of the Research Training Program Stipends (RTPS) will receive $32,500 (2023 rate) from the Australian Government.
