The ASTTBC Technology Award supports students entering the final year of an eligible technology programme at Okanagan College. The award recognises academic achievement, financial need, and contributions to campus life or the community.

Eligibility Criteria for the ASTTBC Technology Award at Okanagan College 2026:

  • Applicant must have completed the first year of an Okanagan College technology programme accredited by ASTTBC in one of the following fields:
    • Civil Engineering Technology
    • Electronic Engineering Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering Technology
    • Water Engineering Technology
  • Applicant must be returning to Okanagan College's Kelowna Campus for the final year of the programme.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits, or 6 credits for students with permanent disabilities.
  • Applicant must be a member of the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC). Membership is provided at no cost to the recipient.
  • Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and contributions to campus life and/or the community.

  • Apply through the Kelowna Current/Returning Application.
  • The department selects the recipient(s).

Value of the Award:

  • One award of CAD 1,000 is awarded to the recipient annually.
