The Association of Women in Finance Award supports female students pursuing the Finance Specialty within the Business Administration degree or diploma programme at Okanagan College who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.
Eligibility Criteria for the Association of Women in Finance Award at Okanagan College 2026:
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicant must be a female student.
- Applicant must have completed a minimum of 24 credits in the Business Administration degree or diploma programme at the Kelowna Campus of Okanagan College.
- Applicant must be returning for a subsequent year of full-time study in the Finance Specialty, with a minimum 9 credits or 60% course load, or 6 credits or 40% course load for students with permanent disabilities.
- Applicant may receive preference if they are a single parent, a mature woman returning to study, or have a disability or have overcome a disability.
- Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.
- Applicant who qualifies as a mature student must be at least 19 years of age and have been out of full-time secondary school for at least one year before commencing their programme.
