Introduction:

Assistive Technology Award at Red River College Polytech assists students by administering scholarships, bursaries, and awards that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations, and individuals.

Eligibility requirement for Assistive Technology Award at Red River College Polytech:

Must be a student with a documented disability registered with Student Accessibility Services or Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services at RRC Polytech, and be eligible to continue in their program with satisfactory academic progress.
Must not be eligible for government or external assistive technology funding (e.g., Canada Student Grant) and must not be sponsored by a government or community agency.

Application Process:

Submit a joint written letter with your Student Accessibility Services Accessibility Specialist or Deaf & Hard of Hearing Manager requesting the specific assistive technology needed at RRC Polytech.
The letter must explain how the equipment will support your learning and be submitted to the Student Accessibility Services Assistive Technologist by the deadline.
