The undergraduate Scholarship Program is offered by the ASM Materials Education Foundation to support undergraduate applicants.

Eligibility for ASM Materials Education Foundation - Undergraduate Scholarships, 2022 :

  • The Undergraduate Scholarship Program is open to candidates studying in North America.
  • The applicant must be a Material Advantage student member.
  • Applicants must intend to major in metallurgy or materials science engineering.
  • Candidates majoring in related science or engineering areas of study will also be considered.
  • Applicants who exhibit a keen interest in materials science and have excellent academic merit will be preferred.
  • Applicants must have completed at least one year of college.
  • Candidates must have either a junior or senior standing in the fall at a North American University to be eligible for the Roberts, Woodside, Wert, Dyrkacz, Ladish, Dulis, Haniak, and Chellman academic merit &
  • need-based scholarships.
  • The University must have an accredited science and engineering program leading to a bachelor's degree.

Documents Required:

  • Applicants of the Undergraduate Scholarship Program must submit a completed application form.
  • Candidates must submit a copy of their resume.
  • Academic transcripts must be submitted.
  • Applicants are required to submit a photograph as well.
