Arthur Naylor Scholarships at Queen's University Belfast
This scholarship was established in 1985 in memory of Arthur Holden Naylor, former Professor of Civil Engineering. These scholarships award GBP 1,000 biannually to students starting an undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Selection is based on academic performance and, optionally, an interview.
Eligibility Criteria of Arthur Naylor Scholarships:
- Open to students beginning an undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Recipients must maintain an overall weighted average of at least 65% each stage; failure to do so ends the scholarship, but previously awarded funds do not need to be repaid.
Selection Criteria:
- Selection is based on academic performance at school (A Levels or equivalent) and, optionally, an interview.
- Awards are granted at the start of the student’s studies at Queen’s.
